Shipping & Returns

Kinkette aims to provide our customers with the highest quality products and exceptional service. However, we understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations or requirements. 

This Return Policy outlines the conditions and process for returning products purchased from our online store.

Return & Exchange Policy

Please double-check your mailing address when placing your order. Once an order is placed, unfortunately, we cannot make any changes.

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

Return Window:
Products must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

Condition:
The product must be returned such that it can be resold. The product must be in its original, unused condition, with all original packaging, tags, and accessories intact. Products that have been used, altered, or damaged will not be accepted for return.

Proof of Purchase:
A valid proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation email or receipt, must be provided in the return packaging.

Items that have been customized or personalized to your specifications cannot be
returned.

How do I initiate a return?

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

Contact Customer Service: Email our customer service team at hello@shopkinkette.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

Please provide your original order number and the reason for the return.


Pack the Product: Carefully pack the product in its original packaging, including all tags, accessories, and documentation. Please ensure packaging is sufficient to cushion the fragile candle(s) during shipping. Ensure that the RMA number is clearly marked on the outside of the package.

Ship the Product:
Send the product to the return address provided by our customer service team. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged returns.

Any lost or damaged goods will not be refunded.

Inspection and Refunds
Once we receive your returned product, it will be inspected to ensure it meets our return conditions. If the product is in good, re-sellable condition, we will process your refund or exchange within 7-10 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

What is your policy for shipping costs?
  • Original Shipping Costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable
  • Return Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs
Can I make an exchange?

If you wish to exchange a product for a different size, color, or model, please follow the return process outlined above, to first return the item you do not want, and then place a new order on our website for the desired item.

Exchanges are subject to product availability.

What if my product was defective or damaged?

If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact our customer service
team at hello@kinkette.com within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.

Ingredients & Candle Care

Our candles are made of a premium blend of coconut soy wax with 100% cotton core wicks. They are paraffin-free and contain perfume grade paraben-free and phthalate-free essential and fragrance oils. Our candles are hand-poured in the United States.

How do I care for my candle?

Trim the Wick: Before each use, trim the wick to 1/4 inch.

Burn Time: Allow the candle to burn for 2-4 hours at a time, or until the wax melts evenly across the surface. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. 

Safety First: Always burn candles on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, flammable materials, children, and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Extinguish Properly: Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame, or gently blow it out. Avoid using water, as this can cause the hot wax to splatter, or the candle lid.

Storage: Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Orders

Oh no! I made a mistake with my order!

Please double check your order – especially your mailing address – before placing the order. After an order is placed, unfortunately, it is extremely difficult - if not impossible - to change details of the order.

Do you sell wholesale?

Can’t get enough of us? We welcome large order and wholesale inquiries. Please email hello@kinkette.com for more information.

How do I apply a discount code?

If you have a discount code through a special promotion, you can enter it at checkout to apply the discount. Not all products are discounted with every code, so please note the promotional text.

Shipping Policy

Do you offer free shipping?

We may offer free shipping for orders with a pre-tax and pre-shipping expense of a certain amount or more. Our shipping specials will be displayed on our website. All other orders will be charged shipping based on standard shipping rates. 

How long will it take to get my order?

We process orders within 1-3 business days of the order being placed. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday. You will receive an order confirmation and a shipping confirmation email.

Do you ship overseas?

While we are not currently equipped to ship overseas on a regular basis, we may consider an exception for certain orders. Please email us at hello@kinkette.com to discuss.
